Responsibilities
Welcome guests with a warm, friendly, and professional attitude
Manage guest seating and table rotations efficiently
Maintain accurate wait times and communicate them effectively
Answer incoming phone calls and assist guests with inquiries
Assist with online and takeout orders
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and lobby area
Coordinate with servers and managers to ensure smooth guest flow
Help manage reservations and large parties
Thank guests as they leave and invite them back
Assist with light side work and dining room support as needed
Promote current specials, loyalty programs, and restaurant events
Qualifications
Previous restaurant or customer service experience preferred but not required
Positive attitude and strong communication skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Professional appearance and demeanor
Dependable attendance and punctuality
Team-oriented mindset
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Comfortable using POS systems, waitlist software, and tablets
