We have a new need for a full time Clinical Psychologist at the Naval Branch Health Clinic in Belle Chasse, LA
Job Specific Duties:
- Practice within the guidelines of their state licensing board, American Psychological Association Ethical Principles and Code of Conduct, and facility privileges.
- Conduct psychological evaluations utilizing information from clinical interviews, psychological testing, and collateral sources, as appropriate.
- Establish psychiatric diagnoses according to the American Psychiatric Association Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Disorders.
- Provide psychological treatment for individuals and groups; help medical and surgical patients deal with illnesses or injuries.
- Targeted assessment and evaluation, including diagnostic impressions and functional status focused on the presenting problem.
Work Schedule:
Normal schedule is Monday - Friday, 8.5 or 9 hours between 7:30am and 5:00pm, including a half-hour or full hour lunch break.
