About the Role

As an Account Manager at Definitive Healthcare, you will manage and grow a portfolio of client relationships by helping organizations unlock the full value of our healthcare commercial intelligence platform. You’ll serve as a strategic partner—identifying opportunities for expansion, driving renewals, and guiding clients on how to best leverage our data, analytics, and insights to achieve their goals. This role blends relationship management with consultative problem‑solving, working cross‑functionally to ensure clients see measurable impact from our solutions. What You’ll Do

Grow sales within existing small/medium sized client accounts, collaborate with sales specialists to identify growth opportunities across therapeutic areas

Go “high and wide” in accounts to build relationships with potential buyers and influencers; take a consultative approach to identify client issues that DHC can solve

Initiate conversations about new opportunities and partner with DHC Sales Specialists to develop and close opportunities

Work with the Customer Experience organization to optimize usage and value of DHC services

Lead critical renewals conversations

Meet and exceed renewal and expansion quotas

Accurately forecast opportunities and utilize CRM to manage your portfolio

What You'll Bring

3+ years of individual, quota-carrying selling experience in Tech, Software, or IT

Experience in account planning and collaborating with cross-functional teams

Experience negotiating and closing multi-year service contracts

A powerful work ethic with energy, humor, compassion, and enthusiasm

Superior communication skills and proficiency crafting compelling narratives using MS Office tools

A. or B.S. degree

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $53,000– $101,000 per year, which represents the base pay the company reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this role. Actual pay within this range will be determined based on factors such as relevant experience, skills, and qualifications.

Depending on the position, employees may also be eligible to participate in a company bonus or commission plan. All employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, unlimited paid time off, and participation in the company’s 401(k) plan with employer contribution.
