Position Summary

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and comfortable environment throughout our assisted living and memory care community. This position plays a vital role in promoting the health, safety, dignity, and quality of life of our residents.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident apartments, bathrooms, and common areas daily.
• Dust, vacuum, sweep, mop, and sanitize all assigned areas.
• Make beds and change linens as scheduled or needed.
• Clean windows, mirrors, furniture, and fixtures.
• Empty trash and dispose of waste properly.
• Replenish housekeeping supplies and report low inventory.
• Follow infection control, OSHA, and safety guidelines.
• Report maintenance concerns or safety hazards promptly.
• Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality.
• Interact with residents in a friendly, respectful, and professional manner.
• Assist with special cleaning projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred (healthcare or assisted living experience is a plus).
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and remain on your feet throughout the shift.
• Must successfully pass a Level II Background Screening and drug screening (if applicable).
