Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Home Care Supervisory Visits & Care Plan Oversight

Company: Priority Home Care

Location: Cobb/Douglas/Metro Atlanta Area

Schedule: PRN/Part-Time to start, with opportunity for growth

Compensation: Competitive per-visit or hourly rate (145 flat rate per Care Plan visit)

Priority Home Care is a growing Georgia-licensed private home care provider serving clients and families with compassionate, reliable, and professional in-home support. We are seeking a Registered Nurse who can assist with client care plan visits, supervisory visits, caregiver competency sign-offs, and clinical oversight as our agency continues to grow.

This is a great opportunity for an RN who wants flexibility now and the potential to grow into an RN Manager role as the company expands.

Responsibilities include:

  • Complete initial client care plan/service plan visits as needed
  • Conduct supervisory home visits for personal care clients
  • Review client needs, safety risks, functional limitations, and caregiver task assignments
  • Update care plans based on client condition, family feedback, and agency requirements
  • Observe and document caregiver performance during supervisory visits
  • Complete caregiver skills validation/sign-off for assigned personal care tasks
  • Provide guidance to caregivers regarding safe, appropriate, client-centered care
  • Communicate changes in client condition or care concerns to agency leadership
  • Assist with compliance documentation and quality assurance
  • Support agency policies, caregiver training, and clinical best practices
  • Help build a strong care team as the agency grows

Ideal candidate:

  • Active Georgia RN license in good standing
  • Experience in home care, hospice, home health, long-term care, geriatrics, or private duty care preferred
  • Comfortable completing documentation accurately and timely
  • Strong communication skills with clients, families, caregivers, and agency leadership
  • Able to work independently and use sound clinical judgment
  • Organized, dependable, and professional
  • Interested in growing with a small but expanding home care company
  • Comfortable supporting caregiver training, competency checks, and quality improvement

Requirements:

  • Current Georgia Registered Nurse license
  • CPR certification
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to travel to client homes within the service area
  • Background check and required onboarding documentation
  • Home care supervisory experience preferred but not required for the right candidate

Growth Opportunity:

As Priority Home Care grows, this role has the potential to develop into an RN Manager position. The RN Manager would assist with clinical oversight, caregiver training, care plan management, quality assurance, and leadership of the agency’s care team.
