Associate Project Manager
Position Summary
The Associate Project Manager supports the execution of capital projects by assisting with project planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, documentation, and reporting. This role partners with engineering, operations, and supply chain teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. The position may also manage smaller projects or assigned workstreams under the guidance of a senior project manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Support project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and stakeholder communications.
- Assist with capital project approvals, documentation, and project setup.
- Track project schedules, budgets, and milestones while identifying potential risks.
- Coordinate procurement activities, including purchase orders, vendor communication, and equipment tracking.
- Maintain project documentation, dashboards, financial reporting, and change orders.
- Support contractor coordination, project meetings, and field activities.
- Assist with project closeout, recordkeeping, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, regulatory, and company standards.
- Build positive working relationships with internal teams and external vendors.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree in STEM, business, finance, or a related field preferred.
- 1–2 years of project coordination, project management, engineering, construction, or procurement experience preferred.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Work Environment
- Standard full-time schedule with occasional evening or weekend work based on project demands.
- Ability to work in office, production, warehouse, and construction environments.
- Must be able to move throughout facilities and lift up to 50 pounds when necessary.
- Will be expected to follow all applicable safety, quality, and operational procedures.
Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
