Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager / Site Superintendent to lead and oversee complex infrastructure projects from inception to completion. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage diverse construction initiatives, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Duties

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Manage construction schedules using Co-Construct, Buildertrend and other project management software to coordinate activities across multiple teams.
  • Oversee site operations, including safety compliance, quality control, and environmental regulations, ensuring a safe work environment at all times.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents such as Civil 3D drawings.
  • Monitor project costs through effective cost management strategies utilizing HeavyBid and other estimating tools; track progress against budgets regularly.
  • Supervise on-site teams by managing staffing levels, assigning tasks, and fostering a productive work environment focused on safety and efficiency.
  • Coordinate procurement of materials and equipment using construction estimating techniques; ensure timely delivery aligned with project schedules.
  • Review contracts, change orders, and project documentation to maintain compliance with contractual obligations and regulatory standards.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure construction schedule coordination is maintained; address issues proactively to minimize delays.
  • Maintain comprehensive project records including daily reports, incident logs, inspection reports, and progress documentation for transparency and accountability.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing complex infrastructure or heavy civil construction projects with a strong understanding of construction scheduling principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage teams in a construction management role while maintaining high safety standards.
  • Strong knowledge of construction estimating techniques and cost management practices.
  • Excellent project coordination skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with construction regulatory compliance requirements across various jurisdictions.
  • Experience reading blueprints and schematics accurately; understanding contracts and legal documentation related to construction projects.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to lead projects efficiently from start to finish while maintaining attention to detail.
