You'll lead a dedicated team, partner with thoughtful finance leaders, and navigate the unique and rewarding complexity of healthcare finance. The Accounting Supervisor oversees day-to-day accounting operations within the healthcare system, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulatory requirements, and adherence to internal controls. This role provides direct supervision to accounting staff, supports month-end close activities, and partners with finance leadership to maintain efficient, high-quality accounting processes across clinical and non-clinical entities.

Supervise daily accounting operations, including general ledger, journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities

Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance

Ensure adherence to GAAP, healthcare accounting standards, and organizational policies

Support preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports

Assist with annual audits, cost reports, and regulatory filings; serve as a key contact for auditors

Monitor internal controls and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce risk

Provide guidance, coaching, and performance management for assigned accounting staff

Collaborate with finance, revenue cycle, supply chain, payroll, and operational leaders to resolve accounting issues
