Job Description
Minimum 1+ years special education experience required.
Special Education Teacher
Location: Iva, South Carolina
Job Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and support staff
- Adapt curriculum to meet students' unique needs
- Use varied teaching techniques to address different learning styles
- Monitor and assess student progress
- Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Special Education or related field (Masters preferred)
- Valid South Carolina teaching certification in Special Education
- Experience with students with disabilities
- Knowledge of IEP development
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
