This Global Process Owner, Record to Report position in United States is designed for a visionary leader who possesses deep expertise in end-to-end Record-to-Report processes and a proven ability to standardize, govern, and continuously improve financial operations across a global shared services or Global Business Services environment. Key Responsibilities
Serve as the global process owner and strategic authority for all Record-to-Report activities, including financial close, general ledger management, account reconciliations, intercompany accounting, consolidations, and external financial reporting.
Define, document, and enforce global process standards, policies, and governance frameworks to ensure consistency, compliance, and best-in-class execution across all business units and geographies.
Partner closely with Finance, Accounting, IT, and executive leadership to drive end-to-end process transformation initiatives, leveraging Oracle ERP capabilities to maximize automation and efficiency.
Establish, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) to measure process health, identify gaps, and drive continuous improvement across the Record-to-Report cycle.
Lead and mentor a team of finance and accounting professionals within a Shared Services or Global Business Services model, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and operational excellence.
Champion process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen to eliminate waste, reduce cycle times, and enhance the quality and accuracy of financial reporting across the organization.
Collaborate with internal audit, compliance, and risk management teams to ensure that all Record-to-Report processes adhere to applicable regulatory requirements, internal controls, and industry standards.
Support mergers, acquisitions, and system implementation projects by providing subject matter expertise in Record-to-Report design, data migration, and process harmonization activities.
