Our agency client is seeking a Project Manager that has a focus in print production and retail.
High-level details:
- Hours/week: targeting 40 hours / week. Client is open to 20-30 as well (based on your availability)
- Duration: ongoing
- Location: local to the Minneapolis, MN metro for occasional onsite meetings
Role Overview:
Our client is seeking a Project Manager to support high-volume, fast-moving retail and in-store marketing initiatives for a major national retailer. This role is ideal for someone with 2- 4 years of agency or retail marketing project management experience, who thrives in a collaborative environment and knows how to keep complex production workflows moving smoothly.
You'll partner closely with internal teams, creative, production, and client-facing leads to deliver accurate, on-time work across in-store marketing programs. This is a high-visibility, ongoing engagement with the potential to scale to multiple PM hires.
What You'll Own:
- Managing retail and in-store marketing projects from kickoff through delivery
- Building and maintaining timelines, schedules, and production workflows
- Coordinating with creative, production, and account teams to ensure alignment
- Supporting client-facing communication as needed
- Facilitating reviews through Ziflow and other proofing tools
- Tracking deliverables, approvals, and status updates across multiple workstreams
- Ensuring accuracy and quality across all in-store marketing assets
- Proactively identifying risks, blockers, and solutions
The ideal candidate:
- 2-4 years' experience in project management
- Experience in PM software, such as Workbook or Smartsheet
- Proficient in Excel
- Highly detail-oriented, organized, and proactive
- Collaborative and easy to work with - someone who can negotiate, partner, and influence internal teams
- A natural problem solver who stays calm in fast-paced environments
- Comfortable with both agency dynamics and retail production workflows
Nice to have:
- In-store marketing experience
- Retail experience
- Familiarity with high-volume production environments
- Background working with creative, production, or shopper marketing teams
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
