Property Manager

A growing, locally owned property management company south of Boston is seeking a Property Manager to join its team due to continued portfolio expansion. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow into a Senior Property Manager role over time within a supportive and collaborative environment.

The Property Manager will oversee a portfolio of residential properties across the South Shore, managing day-to-day operations, tenant and board relationships, and overall property performance. The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, and eager to develop within a growing organization.

Schedule: Full-time (hybrid after initial training period)

Training: Fully onsite for the first month

Location: South Shore, MA (properties located in Duxbury, Hingham, Hull, Cohasset, and Plymouth)

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations for an assigned portfolio of 8–10 residential properties (with growth to 20+)
• Conduct regular property inspections and address maintenance or operational concerns
• Coordinate and oversee leasing activities, including showings, applications, and renewals
• Serve as a primary point of contact for residents, boards, and vendors
• Review and approve property-related invoices (approximately 30–40 per month)
• Coordinate with vendors and ensure timely completion of work orders
• Maintain accurate property records and documentation
• Support budgeting and financial tracking for assigned properties

Top Qualifications:

• 2+ years of property management experience
• Experience with property management software such as AppFolio or Yardi strongly preferred
• Strong customer service and relationship management skills
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage a portfolio of properties
• Willingness to travel locally to properties as needed
