Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Heating Air Conditioning Technician role based in North Little Rock, AR. The technician will install, inspect, diagnose, and repair heating and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial settings. Daily responsibilities include performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting system issues, checking electrical and plumbing connections related to HVAC equipment, and ensuring systems meet safety and EPA standards. The role also involves communicating with customers about findings, recommending solutions, documenting work performed, and collaborating with team members to complete service calls efficiently. Technicians are expected to follow company procedures, maintain tools and vehicles, and uphold high standards of safety and customer service.

Qualifications

  • Strong troubleshooting skills for diagnosing HVAC performance issues and identifying effective repair solutions.
  • Experience with plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems, including condensate drainage and related connections.
  • Ability to perform preventive maintenance on heating and cooling equipment to ensure reliability and efficiency.
  • Knowledge of EPA regulations and safe handling of refrigerants; EPA certification or eligibility to obtain it.
  • Understanding of electricity, including reading wiring diagrams, checking circuits, and safely working with electrical components.
  • Relevant technical training or HVAC certification; completion of an accredited HVAC program is preferred.
  • Previous experience as an HVAC technician or in a closely related mechanical trade.
  • Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to travel locally for service calls.
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment, work in varying weather conditions, and perform physical tasks safely.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical issues in clear terms.
