Position: Financial Analyst – FP&A and Business Performance Controlling - Malvern, PA or Walpole, MA
Overview
Join Siemens Healthineers as a Financial Analyst – FP&A and Business Performance Controlling within the Point of Care Business Area. In this role you will perform planning, analysis, and reporting activities that support strategic and tactical decision‑making for cross‑functional stakeholders and prepare key financial presentations for management meetings.
Base pay range: $123,120 - $169,290.
Responsibilities
- Drive monthly and quarterly close, planning, and forecasting activities, including P&L, FX, FTEs, legal entity analysis, and risks and opportunities.
- Guide the analysis of financial results to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Analyze KPIs and overall business performance, including gross profit, SG&A, and profitability across geographies and product lines.
- Drive and optimize financial performance by making data‑driven recommendations to management to deliver targets.
- Develop management reports and presentations, including Forecast Reviews and Performance Dialogues.
- Drive productivity and transformation‑related reporting initiatives.
- Manage Enterprise Risk Management reporting and tracking in collaboration with functional owners.
- Contribute to the enhancement of reporting tools, dashboards, and finance processes.
Skills & Experience
- Ability to distill business processes and results into actionable information for senior leadership.
- Very strong presentation skills.
- Strong analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail and data quality.
- Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and SAP.
- Very good communication and networking skills, result and quality orientation, pro‑active attitude, intercultural sensitivity, and ability to establish virtual networks across cultures and locations.
- Proactive mindset with an interest in continuous improvement.
- Excellent business acumen with a strong understanding of complex organizational and reporting structures, forecasting, and budgeting processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 3‑5 years of progressive analytical and controlling experience, with demonstrated career progression in a similar environment.
- Exposure to international or cross‑regional environments preferred.
- Experience in Healthcare business and a good understanding of Healthcare Industry dynamics, with a special focus on Healthcare Diagnostics.
- Willingness to travel occasionally (
