Junior Accountant

Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for a Junior Accountant for our client in Raleigh. The primary responsibilities of the Property Accountant are to assist the Senior Property Accountant in accounting and reporting of all properties assigned.Responsibilities:

• Accurate balance sheet reconciliation to sub-ledgers and/or supporting documentation and income statement review at month-end including
• Bank reconciliations including clean up significantly aged outstanding checks
• Accounts Payable and Accruals
• Accounts Receivable, Bad Debts, Security Deposits and Prepaid Rents
• Mortgage and escrow balances
• Taxes, Insurance
• Identification and reclassification of transactions miscoded
• Additional closing procedures as required
• Assist in getting all monthly documents scanned into Google Drive
• Assign easily completed and basic tasks to Accounting Assistant
• Special Projects and other tasks As Assigned by Senior Property Accountant and Property Controller

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting or related field
• 1-3 years accounting experience
• Property Accounting experience a plus
• Strong communication & organizational skills
• Comfortable with MS Office
