We are seeking a Lab Technician (2nd Shift) to join their quality assurance team. This role is perfect for a communicator who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced lab environment where precision is non-negotiable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform rigorous testing and analysis of petroleum products, ensuring all output meets industry standards.
- Utilize and maintain laboratory equipment following ASTM (American Standard Testing Method) protocols.
- Process and interpret data from customer gasoline and diesel samples to generate technical reports.
- Collaborate with the manufacturing and technical services departments to resolve quality issues.
- Oversee the routine calibration and inspection of lab instrumentation.
- Maintain high standards of laboratory cleanliness and safety.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Foundational knowledge or experience in Quality Management, Quality Assurance, or IT Quality systems.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to make sound decisions based on testing data.
