Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Br47 Forklift Driver to join our dynamic warehouse team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating various types of heavy equipment, including reach trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, and pallet jacks, to efficiently load, unload, and transport materials within our distribution center. This role is essential in maintaining smooth warehouse operations, ensuring safety compliance, and supporting overall warehouse management activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, experience in warehouse distribution, and a commitment to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklift equipment such as reach trucks, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, and pallet jacks to load and unload shipments.
• Execute order picking tasks accurately using various warehouse management systems and equipment.
• Assist with inventory management by organizing materials on pallets and racks according to warehouse procedures.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and minor repairs to ensure optimal operation; report any mechanical issues promptly.
• Support shipping and receiving processes by verifying shipment contents against documentation.
• Handle heavy lifting tasks safely while adhering to OSHA regulations and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize materials handling workflows and improve efficiency.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and productivity.

Requirements

• Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as reach trucks, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, and pallet jacks within a warehouse setting.
• Strong understanding of warehouse management systems and order picker operations.
• Mechanical knowledge related to forklift maintenance and basic equipment repair.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards for material handling and heavy equipment operation.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts and measurements.
• Prior experience in warehouse distribution or similar logistics environments preferred.
