Job Overview

Substitute Teacher – Hiring substitutes for Bay Arenac ISD and local schools for the 2023‑24 School Year. 60 college credit hours required. No experience necessary. Daily pay rate varies by school district.

Responsibilities

• Provide meaningful instruction to students in assigned classrooms while the regular teacher is absent
• Review and implement the regular teacher’s routines, procedures, lesson plans, and curriculum objectives
• Establish and maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment
• Report any student injuries, illnesses, and serious discipline problems to school administration
• Perform other duties as directed by school administration

Qualifications

• Completion of at least 60 college/university credit hours (official copy of transcripts required)
• FBI Criminal History Clearance
• A Michigan Substitute Teaching Permit (we will apply for one on your behalf)
