The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Executive Director, the Director of Finance & Administration serves as a trusted strategic partner and organizational leader. This role oversees the organization's finance and administrative functions, ensuring the infrastructure, systems, and resources necessary to support continued growth and mission success are in place and operating smoothly.
Working closely with the Executive Director, Board of Directors, and directors team, you will help translate organizational priorities into operational excellence, strengthen organizational capacity, and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Strategy & Organizational Planning
Lead the organization's financial operations, budgeting, forecasting, planning, and reporting processes.
Ensure financial resources are strategically aligned with organizational priorities and mission outcomes.
Provide clear, data-informed analysis and recommendations that support effective decision-making across the organization.
Serve as a strategic advisor to the Executive Director, senior directors team, and Board of Directors.
Act as the primary staff liaison to the Finance and Audit Committees, preparing and presenting timely, accurate financial reports and insights.
Building Operational Excellence
Design, implement, and continuously improve systems, policies, and processes that increase efficiency, accountability, and collaboration.
Oversee finance, administration, and information technology functions to ensure they are integrated, scalable, and positioned for future growth.
Strengthen internal controls, risk management practices, and information systems that support informed decision-making and organizational effectiveness.
Manage key relationships with auditors, financial institutions, insurance providers, technology partners, and other vendors.
Leadership & Team Development
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance and operations team.
Foster a culture of learning, innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Establish clear goals, provide ongoing coaching and feedback, and support professional development across the team.
Contribute as an active and collaborative member of the senior team, helping shape organization-wide strategy and priorities.
