Soliant Health is actively seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) for a part-time, onsite opportunity in the Lorain, Ohio area. This position will serve K–8 students in a collaborative school setting, providing therapy services that promote student independence and success in the classroom.

This is an excellent opportunity for Occupational Therapists who are passionate about supporting students' fine motor, sensory, and functional skill development while working alongside a multidisciplinary educational team.

Position Details

Part-Time: Up to 12 hours per week

2026–2027 School Year

Onsite services only

K–8 student population

Caseload: Approximately 18 students

Total service requirement: 3,260 minutes per quarter

Caseload and schedule may vary based on therapist experience and school needs

Responsibilities

Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and assessments

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs

Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services

Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, and families

Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions

Maintain accurate documentation and progress monitoring

Support students in developing fine motor, visual motor, sensory processing, self-help, and functional classroom skills

Recommend adaptive equipment and environmental modifications when appropriate

Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal special education guidelines

Qualifications Required

Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy

Active Ohio Occupational Therapist License or eligibility to obtain licensure

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary educational team

Preferred

Previous school-based occupational therapy experience

Experience working with K–8 students

Knowledge of IEP development and implementation

Pediatric occupational therapy experience

Experience with sensory integration strategies and adaptive equipment
