Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead and oversee electrical industrial or construction projects on-site. This role is vital in ensuring that electrical work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with all relevant codes and standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management, team supervision, and technical expertise in industrial electrical systems. As an Electrical Supervisor, you will coordinate activities across multiple teams, review technical drawings, manage schedules, and ensure quality control throughout the project lifecycle. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale construction projects while maintaining a focus on safety, precision, and timely delivery. PLC troubleshooting and automation controls will be highly considered!
Responsibilities
- Supervise electrical crews on construction sites, providing clear direction and ensuring work adheres to project specifications and safety regulations.
- Review construction drawings, schematics, and technical documents to interpret project requirements accurately.
- Coordinate construction schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project management software to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Manage subcontractors and vendors, overseeing contracts, scope of work, and performance standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality control, and compliance with OSHA and federal safety regulations.
- Utilize tools such as Ohmmeter for testing electrical systems and ensure all work meets industry standards.
- Collaborate with project managers to develop budgets, track costs, and manage resources effectively while maintaining high safety standards.
Requirements
- Licensed Electrician Journeyman or Master; will take candidates that possess Electrical Engineering with Bachelor's degree that have industrial electrician experience.
- Proven experience supervising industrial electrical projects with a strong understanding of construction management practices.
- Extensive knowledge of construction scheduling software such as Primavera P6 and HeavyBid for estimating purposes is a plus but not required.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans accurately.
- Hands-on experience with construction site safety protocols including OSHA regulations and federal safety standards.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Ability to read and analyze construction drawings, schematics, and technical documents effectively.
- Skilled in budgeting, construction estimating, quality control processes, and managing project schedules.
- Knowledge of pipeline systems or heavy civil projects is a plus but not required.

Pay: $70,404.76 - $84,788.52 per year
