About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated Facilities Maintenance Technician to oversee the operational integrity and aesthetic quality of our site. You will utilize your expertise in building systems and craftsmanship to ensure a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for all personnel.
Responsibilities
- Execute preventative maintenance and corrective repairs on building infrastructure, mechanical systems, and interior fixtures to maximize facility longevity.
- Perform regular site walkthroughs to proactively identify potential hazards and ensure strict adherence to safety and building codes.
- Manage work order requests with a focus on rapid resolution and high-quality craftsmanship.
- Coordinate the installation and assembly of new equipment, ensuring seamless integration into existing facility layouts.
- Oversee the organization and procurement of essential repair supplies and tools to maintain operational readiness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on facility improvement projects to enhance overall site efficiency.
- Maintain a pristine and orderly workspace, consistently following established safety protocols.
- Deliver professional support to staff and visitors, acting as a reliable point of contact for facility-related inquiries.
Qualifications
Required Skills
- Demonstrated professional experience in general maintenance or facility repair.
- Proficiency in basic plumbing, electrical troubleshooting, and HVAC system maintenance.
- Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex mechanical issues.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Physical capability to perform manual labor, including lifting and extended periods of movement.
- Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation.
Preferred Skills
- Formal certification in a trade such as electrical, plumbing, or HVAC.
- Advanced experience with finish and rough carpentry techniques.
- Proven ability to read and interpret technical measurements and blueprints.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to work autonomously.
