Production Welder

Job Overview

We are looking for a motivated Experienced Welder to assemble and weld formed steel bench-top components at our manufacturing facility. You will be working with 7ga and 1/4” steel parts that are brake formed and weigh approximately 8-12 pounds when completed. You will be expected to weld parts using primarily a pulse MIG operation. Occasional TIG and robotic MIG may be required as needed. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to begin or grow a career in metal fabrication.

Shift: Monday-Friday 3:30pm-12:00 am

• *This position requires working two weeks on the day shift for onboarding- Monday-Friday 7am-3:30 pm prior to converting over to night shift**

Compensation: $18-20 + $1 Differential

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently log hours through MRP software
• Maintain safe working practices
• Maintain a consistent production work pace
• Interpret drawings to plan layout and procedures
• Read and interpret basic drawings and work orders
• Inspect finished welds for quality and accuracy
• Use hand tools and fabrication equipment
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow instructions from supervisors and lead welders

Requirements:

• Basic knowledge of MIG welding
• Basic knowledge of TIG welding is a plus
• Basic knowledge of measuring and layout tools
• Willingness to learn and take direction
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work with hands and stand for extended periods
• Commitment to safety and quality work
• Proficient in English
