Assembler Associate II - 1st Shift

Location: North Chicago, IL Hours: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM | Pay: 22.5/hr

Job Summary

The Assembler Associate II is responsible for constructing assemblies and sub-assemblies, operating automated equipment, and ensuring adherence to quality and performance standards.

Job Duties

• Construct multiple assemblies and sub-assemblies following drawings and instructions.
• Use automated equipment and basic computer hardware/software to complete tasks.
• Perform self-inspection, testing, and troubleshooting using testers and fixtures.
• Apply soldering skills as required for the specific functional area.
• Utilize information from external sources to enhance work quality and efficiency.
• Participate in manufacturing or site focus teams such as Safety, GMP, or ESD.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, including leadership, peer training, and cross-training.
• Persuade and influence team members positively to meet work objectives.
• Operate within and maintain the effectiveness of Quality Systems.
• Achieve departmental goals for both quality and productivity.
• Comply with the Client Code of Conduct and departmental performance standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• 1+ year of experience
• Previous GMP and documentation experience
