Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Active Washington State Occupational Therapist license issued by the Washington State Department of Health

Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program

Current NBCOT certification

Washington Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certification (or eligibility to obtain)

Compliance with all state and district background check and fingerprinting requirements

Typical responsibilities for this role include:

Conducting evaluations and assessments to determine students’ functional needs

Developing and implementing individualized education program (IEP) goals and therapy plans

Providing direct and indirect occupational therapy services to students

Collaborating with teachers, support staff, and families to support student success

Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state guidelines

Participating in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
