Duties

• Stock shelves accurately and efficiently, ensuring products are organized and visually appealing to maximize sales opportunities
• Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system to process retail sales transactions swiftly and accurately
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and assisting with product selections or demos
• Handle cash, credit card, and other payment methods with professionalism and accuracy, maintaining proper cash handling procedures
• Upsell products by highlighting features and benefits during customer interactions to increase store revenue
• Maintain merchandising standards by setting up displays, rotating stock, and ensuring the store is clean and inviting
• Assist with inventory management through stocking, product replenishment, and conducting stock counts as needed

Experience

• Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn
• Familiarity with POS systems and cashiering procedures is a plus
• Supervising experience is beneficial for those interested in leadership opportunities within the team
• Bilingual skills are highly desirable to better serve diverse customer needs
• Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette, are essential for engaging with customers effectively
• Basic math skills are necessary for cash handling, retail math calculations, and balancing registers
• Experience in merchandising, product demos, upselling, or retail sales transactions will help you excel in this role
