Receptionist
Location: Austin, TX
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
Work Location: On-Site (Westlake)
Position Summary
The Receptionist serves as the initial point of contact for employees, visitors, and clients. This role is responsible for managing front desk operations, supporting administrative functions, and directing communications throughout the organization. The Receptionist plays a key role in maintaining an organized, efficient, and welcoming environment while delivering exceptional customer service.
This position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong organizational abilities, professional telephone etiquette, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced office environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome visitors, contractors, and guests, ensuring a positive and professional experience.
- Answer, screen, and direct inbound phone calls to the appropriate departments or individuals while providing excellent customer service.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception and lobby area.
- Receive incoming mail, packages, and deliveries and notify the appropriate recipients.
- Maintain office security procedures by signing in visitors, issuing visitor badges, and monitoring badge access.
- Assist with administrative tasks including data entry, scanning, copying, filing, and maintaining documents.
- Provide general administrative support to various departments as needed.
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a receptionist, front desk representative, administrative assistant, or in a similar customer-facing role preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent customer service and professional telephone etiquette.
- Comfortable handling a high volume of inbound calls.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel) is preferred.
