Full-Time Janitor

Job Description:

Maintains facilities by presenting a neat, clean and professional appearance.

Expectations:

Adheres to established procedures to provide a safe working environment including complying with OSHA, state/local and federal regulations

• Maintains a clean and orderly environment to project the safety and health of others
• Properly cleans and maintains housekeeping equipment
• Cleans assigned areas to customer standards and requirements
• Follows procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transports it to designated areas
• Reports maintenance concerns via work order requests to appropriate personnel
• Secures the facility, ensuring building is locked/unlocked as required
• Ensures security of company assets
• Other duties and tasks as assigned by manager
• Must be able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicals

Eligibility Requirements:

• Ability to pass drug screen; pass background check
• Previous custodial, janitor, housekeeping experience preferred
• Previous hospital custodial care is a plus, but not required
• Must be willing to train at other locations locally
• Military, Reservist, or Military Spouse preferred, not required

Required: Must be a U.S. Citizen

Work Environment/Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry 40 lbs.
• Ability to bend, stoop and twist continuously throughout the day

Job Location: Honolulu, Hawaii

Pay: Full-Time / $17.20 - $21.77 per hour
