Box Truck Driver Positions - $26/HR | Support Airport Operations

We are actively looking for skilled Box Truck / Straight Truck Drivers to join our team in Minneapolis, MN. This pivotal driving role supports airport catering and logistics operations, providing you consistent hours, competitive pay, and significant benefits.

Compensation & Schedule

• $26.00 per hour (paid weekly)
• Full-time commitment of 40 hours per week
• Must be flexible for all shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Shifts typically last between 8-10 hours

Your Responsibilities

• Drive a high-lift box truck (16'-26') across airport grounds
• Deliver and collect airline catering carts and equipment from aircraft
• Adjust truck height to align with aircraft doors for efficient loading and unloading
• Coordinate food, beverage, and equipment cart logistics according to flight schedules
• Frequent ascending and descending from the truck during your shift
• Physically handle equipment and materials in a demanding airport environment
• Collaborate with airline personnel, ramp agents, and internal teams
• Ensure timely and precise deliveries to facilitate smooth flight departures
• Conduct routine safety checks and maintain truck cleanliness
• Adhere to all airport safety, TSA, and security protocols
• Remain active on your feet for the majority of the shift in a fast-paced setting

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• At least 1 year of experience driving box trucks or straight trucks (16'-26' required)
• Ability to pass:
• TSA background check
• Airport security clearance
• Pre-employment drug screening
• Capability to frequently lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs
• Comfortable performing physically challenging tasks throughout your shift
• Adaptable with frequent movement in and out of trucks and standing for extended periods
• Willing to work outside in various weather conditions
• Thrive in a fast-paced and high-pressure work environment
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Open availability (including nights, weekends, and holidays)

Important Note

This role is not entry-level; candidates must have prior experience operating box trucks or similar vehicles. Experience limited to personal driving, rideshare, or delivery apps does not qualify.

Please be aware this position involves approximately 20% driving and 80% handling and physical labor. Frequent getting in and out of trucks, as well as regular lifting and handling of loads up to 75 pounds, is required. The job demands being on your feet for most of the shift and is categorized as very labor-intensive.

Preferred Experience (Not Required)

• Experience in airport operations, airline catering, or ramp services
• Background in logistics, trucking, or warehouse distribution
• Familiarity with operating high-lift equipment or working in proximity to aircraft
