Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mower/Landscaper to join our dynamic outdoor maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining beautiful, healthy lawns and landscapes, ensuring that outdoor spaces are vibrant, safe, and visually appealing. Your enthusiasm for outdoor work, combined with your technical skills and knowledge of horticulture and landscape maintenance, will help create inviting environments for our clients and communities. Duties

• Operate lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other power tools to maintain lawns and landscaped areas efficiently and safely
• Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as edging, pruning, planting, mulching, and weeding to enhance the aesthetic appeal of outdoor spaces
• Use hand tools and small machinery like shovels, rakes, pruners, and aerators for detailed landscaping work
• Assist with installation of hardscape features including patios, walkways, retaining walls, and garden beds
• Conduct tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, and planting to promote healthy growth and safety
• Support irrigation system installation and maintenance to ensure proper watering of landscapes
• Prepare sites for seasonal tasks like snow plowing or winterizing landscapes when applicable
• Maintain equipment through routine cleaning, inspection, and minor repairs to ensure optimal performance

Qualifications

• Proven experience with lawn care, landscape maintenance or related outdoor work preferred
• Mechanical knowledge of power tools, hand tools, and small machinery such as excavators or skid-steers is highly desirable
• Strong understanding of horticulture principles including gardening techniques and plant health care
• Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely and efficiently in various weather conditions
• Knowledge of irrigation systems, snow plowing techniques (if applicable), and tree trimming is a plus
• Excellent physical stamina with the ability to stand, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform outdoor tasks for extended periods
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude are essential for collaboration on projects

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
