About the Role

CV Resources is partnering with a growing manufacturing organization seeking a Financial Analyst – Accounting & Reporting professional to join their team. This role is a hybrid between general ledger accounting and financial planning & analysis (FP&A), supporting both the month-end close process and management reporting/analysis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented accounting professional who enjoys combining core accounting responsibilities with financial analysis, budgeting support, and process improvement work.

Key Responsibilities

• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
• Assist with preparation of financial statements and internal reporting packages
• Perform variance analysis and provide commentary on financial results and trends
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes in partnership with leadership
• Maintain integrity of the general ledger and ensure compliance with accounting policies
• Assist with internal and external audit requests, including supporting schedules and documentation
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting efficiency, and internal controls
• Partner cross-functionally to ensure accurate and timely financial data
• Support reporting automation and ERP/process improvement initiatives as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2–5+ years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, or a hybrid GL/FP&A role
• Strong understanding of GAAP and month-end close processes
• Experience with reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting
• Strong Excel skills and comfort working with large data sets
• Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, or variance analysis preferred
• Manufacturing or cost accounting exposure a plus
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
