Role and Responsibilities:
In this position, you will support daily warehouse functions by handling equipment, organizing stock, and ensuring accurate product flow. You will help maintain efficiency across operations while following safety practices and contributing to a structured work environment.
- Operate forklift machinery safely after completing required training and certification.
- Move pallets onto and off trailers with precision and care.
- Organize and store inventory within multi-level warehouse storage areas.
- Pick and prepare product cases based on order requirements using warehouse systems.
- Use handheld scanning devices and tracking tools to manage inventory levels.
- Maintain accurate stock records through consistent scanning and handling procedures.
- Perform routine cleaning duties, including sweeping floors and maintaining trailers.
- Follow established safety guidelines and ensure cleanliness in all work zones.
- Work flexible hours in a continuously operating warehouse environment.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to learn forklift operation and complete certification requirements.
- Capability to lift between 15 and 50 pounds, with or without accommodation.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during work shifts.
- Physical ability to bend, climb, reach, kneel, stoop, and stretch as needed.
- Strength to repeatedly lift, carry, push, and pull materials safely.
- Willingness to work at heights using ladders or lifting equipment.
- Ability to perform duties in varying warehouse conditions, including temperature changes, noise, humidity, and slippery surfaces.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and non-standard shifts.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in warehouse or logistics operations is an advantage.
- Familiarity with scanning equipment or inventory tracking systems.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
