The Groundskeeper / Landscape crew member is responsible for managing the day-to-day maintenance of the grounds and other areas as assigned at Villa de Matel. The work requires independent initiative and judgment in determining operation of equipment and in meeting emergency situations.
Please note that this position is with the Congregation of Sisters of Charity of Incarnate Word at Villa de Matel Center located in Houston, Texas. The Villa de Matel Center is the home for the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word. It is also used as a central gathering place for the Sisters and their ministries, a retirement center for the Sisters and retreat center for the public.

Qualifications:
- Must be authorized to work in the US
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to operate tractor and other lawn care tools
- Knowledge of plants and maintenance of landscaped areas
- 2 to 3 years landscaping experience preferred
- Texas Driver’s License Required
- Landscape certificate or other horticultural education preferred
