WHAT IS A PATIENT SERVICE COORDINATOR

A Patient Service Coordinator, also known as a Medical Receptionist or Patient Coordinator, is the first and last impression of the clinic.

You ensure every patient feels welcomed, supported, and taken care of from check-in to check-out.

  • Check patients in and create a welcoming environment
  • Manage scheduling, rescheduling, and patient flow
  • Check patients out and collect payments

RESPONSIBILITIES

Patient Experience

  • Greet and check in patients professionally
  • Maintain a welcoming and organized front desk

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

  • 2+ years in medical office, healthcare, or front desk experience
