Machinist – Manual Lathe & General Shop Work

Manual Lathe Machinist – Full Time

We’re looking for a machinist with manual lathe experience to handle general shop work and precision parts.

What you’ll do:

• Run manual lathes to make parts from prints
• Read blueprints and hold tolerances (typical: ±____)
• Measure parts with mics, calipers, bore gauges
• Help with general shop work as needed

Nice to have (not required):

• Milling experience
• Basic welding/fab
• Experience with GD&T

Shop details:

• Type: General machine shop ( prototyping, reverse engineering, Production)
• Materials: (aluminum, steel, stainless, Titanium, Plastics, Fiberglass ETC.)
• Work: short runs, one-offs, repeat parts, and large orders It varies by customer

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
