Lead Maintenance Tech

Reports to: Property Manager

Location: Moore, OK

Units: 315

Salary: $26.00 per hour (Subject to adjustment for onsite living)

Housing Benefit: 100% rent discount for onsite living

Summary:

National Property Management Associates Inc. (NPMA) has a great opportunity for a Lead Maintenance Technician to undertake the responsibility of preserving the good condition and functionality of our Class A, 315-unit residential apartment community, located in Moore, OK, adhering to the highest standards of performance. In this position, you will perform a wide variety of maintenance tasks of including, but not limited to painting, HVAC installations, landscaping etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor, schedule, and inspect work being performed by the maintenance staff
  • Maintain a clean organized shop and maintain inventory
  • Obtain bids on special projects
  • Work with the property manager to maintain the supply budget.
  • Perform maintenance of general maintenance including the areas of; electrical, HVAC, & Plumbing
  • Assist in the setup of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems and conduct repairs
  • Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows etc.)
  • Appliance repair & troubleshooting
  • Conduct general upkeep procedures
  • On call responsibilities as assigned by property manager

Skills:

  • Must have 2-5 years of experience as a maintenance technician
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Strong working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, & HVAC.
  • Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices
  • Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
  • Good physical condition and strength
  • HVAC Certification
