The opportunity
Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a seasonal Groundskeeper to join our team at Cedar Grove in Kings Canyon National Park, California. As a Groundskeeper, you will be responsible for ensuring the appearance and cleanliness of the grounds adhere to company standards.

What will you do?
Mow lawn using hand, power, or riding mower and edge around walks, flower beds, and walls
Landscape by planting and watering flowers, grass, shrubs, and bushes
Sweep the walkway of debris and install lawn furniture
Rake, mulch, and prune the grounds as needed
Trim shrubs and pull weeds
Operate company vehicles for transportation across the property as needed
More about you
Must be at least 18 years old
A minimum of 1 year of previous experience in general maintenance or repair for a commercial facility is required
Must have a valid driver's license
No high school diploma or GED required
Physical requirements
Manual dexterity sufficient to use hand tools and paint
Ability to use ladders and perform various types of manual labor
Ability to lift up to 85 pounds occasionally
Exposed to outdoor weather conditions in all seasons
