Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Carpenter to work on various construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong carpentry skills, and a solid understanding of construction techniques. The Carpenter will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard.

Responsibilities:

1. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand project specifications.

2. Measure, cut, and shape wood, plywood, and other materials accurately.

3. Install structures and fixtures such as windows, doors, cabinets, and molding.

4. Construct building frameworks, including walls, floors, and doorframes.

5. Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures.

6. Collaborate with other construction workers to complete projects in a timely manner.

7. Maintain tools and equipment in good condition.

8. Follow all safety protocols and regulations on the job site.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a Carpenter.

2. Proficient in using hand and power tools.

3. Knowledge of building codes and regulations.

4. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.

5. Strong mathematical skills for measuring and calculating dimensions.

6. Excellent attention to detail.

7. Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy materials and work in various conditions.

8. Good communication and teamwork skills.

9. High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or apprenticeship is a plus.
