The Opportunity
This isn't your typical sales manager job. We're looking for someone who wants to run something — someone who gets energized by closing deals, managing crews, and building a book of business they can call their own.
You'll work closely with the owner to learn the business, then take over as the primary face of the company for new and existing clients. As you prove yourself and grow revenue, there's a clear path to equity — real ownership in a profitable, established company.
What You'll Do
- Drive new business through outreach, estimates, referrals, and relationship-building
- Manage existing client accounts and ensure project satisfaction from sale to completion
- Oversee project scheduling, crew coordination, and day-to-day operations
- Prepare and present proposals and estimates to prospective clients
- Work with the owner on pricing strategy and service offerings
- Represent the company at networking events, HOA meetings, and industry functions
What We're Looking For
- Experience in the green industry — landscaping, lawn care, hardscape, or a related field (3+ years preferred)
- Proven sales ability — you know how to build relationships and close
- Operational mindset — you don't just sell it, you make sure it gets done right
- Self-starter — you thrive with autonomy and don't need to be micromanaged
- Integrity — our reputation is everything; we want someone who treats clients and crews with respect
Compensation
- Base draw against commission (negotiable based on experience)
- Commission on sales — competitive percentage of closed and managed revenue
- Equity pathway — for the right candidate, we're open to discussing an ownership stake as a long-term arrangement
- Health benefits, vehicle allowance, and phone negotiable
