Job Title: General Production Worker
Job Description
The General Production Worker performs precise hand assembly of printed circuit boards using small hand tools in a specialized electronics manufacturing environment. This role supports multiple departments on the production floor and requires strong attention to detail, the ability to shift between tasks quickly, and a commitment to producing high-quality electronic assemblies.
Responsibilities
- Perform hand assembly of printed circuit boards using small hand tools in accordance with exact specifications.
- Assemble and install components on circuit boards to precise standards and quality requirements.
- Prep and sort electronic components prior to assembly to ensure efficient workflow.
- Read and interpret bills of materials, assembly drawings, and other electronic documentation to guide assembly work.
- Operate power tools comfortably and confidently while following all safety procedures.
- Use basic hand tools such as sockets, drivers, and other common tools to complete mechanical and electronic assemblies.
- Perform de-paneling, swaging, and arbor pressing of electronic boards as required.
- Understand and apply torque and Loctite specifications during assembly to ensure proper fastening and reliability.
- Support all departments on the production floor by assisting with various assembly and production tasks as needed.
- Maintain high levels of attention to detail and accuracy to meet quality standards for electronic products.
- Change jobs and tasks swiftly without hesitation or error in response to production needs.
- Follow written instructions and work instructions accurately to ensure consistent and compliant production.
- Communicate clearly in English to coordinate work and ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Frequently stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, or crouch while handling loads during production activities.
- Lift and manipulate loads up to 35 pounds safely as part of daily responsibilities.
- Work both independently and as part of a team to meet production goals and deadlines.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma preferred; GED acceptable.
- Electronic manufacturing experience is a plus but not required.
- Experience with mechanical assembly and electronic assembly, including PCB and hand-add work.
- Familiarity with electronic components and circuit board assembly processes.
- Comfort working in an ESD-sensitive electronics manufacturing environment.

Work Environment
