Liquid Personnel is recruiting Adult Social Worker - Learning Disabilities Team at Redcar and Cleveland

What will your responsibilities be?

Care Act Assessment — Complete strengths‑based Care Act assessments and reviews for adults with learning disabilities, ensuring eligibility decisions are clear, person‑centred, and aligned with statutory duties and best‑practice LD approaches.

Risk, Safeguarding MCA — Manage safeguarding concerns, undertake Section 42 enquiries where required, apply the Mental Capacity Act in complex decision‑making, and develop proportionate risk‑management plans that promote safety and autonomy.

Support Planning Multi‑Agency Work — Develop outcome‑focused support plans, commission appropriate services, and work collaboratively with health partners, providers, education, and community networks to enable independence, inclusion, and improved quality of life

Qualifications Experience:

To be successful in this role you must have,

Social Work England registration

Eligible to work in the UK

Hold a full UK driving licence

Post-qualified experience

Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
