Pharmacy Technician in Bronx, NY (Hiring Immediately)

A direct hire opportunity is available for an experienced Day Shift Production Pharmacy Technician in a closed-door, long-term care (LTC) facility. This role is based in Bardonia, New York, and offers a chance to work in a dynamic environment supporting medication preparation and distribution with a focus on accuracy and patient safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare medications in appropriate packaging such as blister packs and unit-dose to ensure timely delivery to residents. Assist in ordering, receiving, and stocking medications while monitoring storage conditions and expiration dates. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient and medication records. Cross-train in the dosage department and toting operations. Utilize the Frameworks software system, with training provided. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm Rotating weekends required Desired Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy technician experience. New York State pharmacy technician license preferred, but not required. PTCB certification preferred, but not required. Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes.
