Elementary Teacher (Grades 3–5) – Georgia Certified | Full-Time

Legacy Heights Academy is hiring a Full-Time Elementary Teacher (Grades 3–5) for July 2026. We are seeking a Georgia-certified educator who can deliver strong instruction, support student accountability, and build a structured, positive classroom culture.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

Start Date: July 2026

Work Location: In-person, Augusta, GA

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver standards-aligned instruction for Grades 3–5
• Strengthen reading comprehension, writing, math fluency, and problem-solving
• Differentiate instruction and provide small-group support as needed
• Use assessments and data to monitor progress and adjust instruction
• Maintain a well-managed classroom environment with clear expectations based on Christian principles
• Communicate effectively with families and school leadership
• Maintain accurate records and required documentation
• Collaborate with colleagues to support grade-level and school-wide goals

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education
• Valid Georgia Teaching Certification
• Strong instructional planning and classroom management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience teaching upper elementary (Grades 3–5)
• Experience preparing students for standardized testing expectations (where applicable)

Compensation

• Hourly pay, based on experience and qualifications
