Restaurant Cashier (Downtown, Day Shifts, Mon-Fri)

Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while managing transactions at the cash register. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can handle cash and operate a Point of Sale (POS) system effectively. Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide assistance as needed.
• Accurately process transactions using the POS system.
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and store policies to assist customers effectively.
• Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
• Assist with inventory management by restocking shelves and keeping track of stock levels.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly with professionalism.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales or as a cashier is preferred but not required.

• Experience operating a cash register or POS system is desirable.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
