Responsibilities
Provide clinical leadership and supervision to nursing staff during assigned shifts.
Coordinate patient care activities to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality outcomes.
Assist with staffing assignments, patient flow, and daily unit operations.
Serve as a resource and mentor to registered nurses, licensed vocational nurses, and support staff.
Monitor patient care delivery and ensure compliance with nursing standards, hospital policies, and regulatory requirements.
Respond to patient care concerns, emergencies, and operational issues as needed.
Collaborate with physicians, department leaders, and interdisciplinary teams to promote positive patient outcomes.
Support quality improvement initiatives, patient safety programs, and performance standards.
