Role Description The Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at Tinker Air Force Base. This position oversees the planning, execution, and completion of construction and contracting projects, including scheduling, resource allocation, and coordination with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing project timelines and budgets, monitoring progress, conducting site visits and inspections, and ensuring compliance with contract requirements and safety standards. The Project Manager will prepare status reports, maintain project documentation, address issues and risks, and support expediting of materials and services to keep projects on track. This role also involves collaborating with logistics and procurement personnel, supporting quality control efforts, and contributing to continuous improvement of project delivery processes.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Project Management skills, including project planning, execution, and oversight.
  • Candidates should possess Expeditor and Expediting skills to coordinate and accelerate materials, equipment, and services required for project completion.
  • Candidates should possess Inspection skills to support quality control, verify work against specifications, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Candidates should possess Logistics Management skills to oversee material flow, scheduling, and coordination among vendors, subcontractors, and project teams.
  • Relevant experience in construction, industrial, military, or government contracting environments.
  • Ability to read and interpret contracts, drawings, and technical specifications.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams.
  • Proficiency with project management software and common office productivity tools.
  • Applicable certifications (e.g., PMP or construction management credentials) and a related degree are beneficial but not required.
