iWorld Professionals is seeking a Customer Account Relationship Specialist for our client in Rochester NY. This is an on-site position. Customer Account Relationship Specialist Position Summary:

Customer-focused sales professional who solves problems, builds relationships, and works in a fast-paced manufacturing environment providing exceptional customer service while serving as the primary liaison between customers and internal teams.

This role works closely with sales, operations, engineering, production, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure customers receive outstanding service and support throughout the order lifecycle.

Customer Account Relationship Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned customer accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships through responsive communication and exceptional customer service.
  • Partner with customers and internal teams to ensure timely execution of customer requirements.
  • Prepare and coordinate customer quotations in collaboration with sales and product management.
  • Identify opportunities to improve profitability through pricing strategies and process improvements.
  • Coordinate closely with production, engineering, quality, planning, and order management teams to ensure customer commitments are met.
  • Monitor customer demand, order activity, and delivery schedules to support on-time performance.
  • Review purchase orders, pricing, contractual terms, and commercial requirements for accuracy.
  • Support service and replacement order activities.
  • Support business development efforts by assisting with new customer opportunities and account growth initiatives.
  • Continuously look for opportunities to improve processes, customer satisfaction, and overall business performance.

Customer Account Relationship Specialist Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous experience in inside sales, account management, customer service, or sales support.
  • Manufacturing or industrial industry experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence outcomes and work effectively across multiple departments.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
  • Experience working with ERP or business management systems is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement principles is beneficial.
