Become a Key Player as an Assembler/Tester B
You will help the team produce and test mechanical and electromechanical assemblies to meet customer quality and on-time delivery expectations. You will work onsite on 2nd shift (1:30 pm - 10:00 pm) as part of a supervised manufacturing team, contributing to lean initiatives and process improvements.
Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team
- Perform basic assembly and test operations using hand and power tools, fixtures, and test equipment
- Record test results and operate basic electrical equipment and flow meters
- Interpret blueprints, assembly routes, test specifications, and quality directives to produce conforming assemblies
- Conduct touch-up or full surface painting and related finishing tasks
- Maintain a FOD-free work area and ensure equipment is calibrated per schedule
- Identify and suggest improvements as part of lean initiatives
Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 0–1 year general mechanical work experience
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, route sheets, and test specifications
- Basic mathematical, verbal, written, and computer skills
- Strong mechanical reasoning and ability to select appropriate procedures, tools, and equipment
- Ability to work in a team environment and participate in goal setting and performance feedback
Pay Range
$19.45 - $24.00 + $2 shift differential
