The Terrain Park Worker plays a hands-on role in the daily setup, maintenance, and safe operation of the terrain parks and halfpipe, ensuring features are maintained to the highest standards. This role supports event preparation by installing and breaking down park elements, while also serving as a visible and approachable presence for guests. With a focus on safety, creativity, and guest engagement, the Terrain Park Worker helps deliver an exceptional on-mountain experience for riders of all levels. This position reports to the Terrain Park Director.

Essential Job Functions
Daily maintenance including raking, shoveling, salting and setting up/breaking down banners, flags, signage, fencing, etc.
Inspect features daily
Tests features as directed by park management
Reports guest injuries to ski patrol and assist at accident scene
Operate salt monkey and snowmobile if scheduled
Educates park users and promotes terrain park etiquette
Other duties as assigned
Education and Experience Requirements
Must be 18 years of age or older
Valid driver’s license required
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Fluent in English required; some Spanish helpful
Working knowledge of park layout/design and park event experience preferred
Successful completion of ASC snowmobile licensing training preferred
Successful completion of ASC chainsaw certification preferred
First Aid certification preferred
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Knowledge of park design/lay out and event experience preferred
Knowledge of safely handling and operating heavy and dangerous machinery
Basic understanding and use of Google Sketch Up
Comfortable working on mountain terrain including steep grades
Knowledge of company policies and procedures
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
Ability to work in collaboration with others to achieve team goals
Work environment and physical demands
Ability to reach, crouch, kneel, stand, bend or be on your feet for extended periods of time
Regularly work in wet, cold, hot conditions requiring the use of protective apparel/equipment to prevent exposure to the elements and may be required to walk on slippery and uneven surfaces
Must be able to frequency lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs. individually or with assistance
