Specific Responsibilities:
Compound formulation and products per instruction given
Test laboratory samples, production samples and raw materials.
Work on minor projects, testing plan, with minimum supervision.
Keep accurate records of all formulations and test results, generating reports and flagging any abnormalities
Prepare reports or memos on assigned tasks or projects.
Maintain the laboratory equipment in good operating conditions.
Maintain assigned work areas and community work areas clean and tidy, following 5S and safety guidelines.
Order raw materials and laboratory supplies as assigned.
Store away raw materials, retains, and reference samples in designated areas.
Adherer to all safety guidelines and procedures, follow standard procedures for equipment including use of proper PPE
Attend all company provided training programs.

Sika is looking for an experienced Technician to join our team.
At Sika, the Technician will:
Be responsible for laboratory testing, product development and laboratory housekeeping
Perform laboratory testing, collect data, and record results
Follow all safety protocols and established procedures
Preferred Skills
High School Diploma or College degree in General Sciences
Some industry experiences related to rubber, plastics or adhesive materials
Able to follow instruction and work independently
Good communicating and writing skill
